The Volcán del Teide will leave at 8 am from Puerto de La Luz and at 12 pm from S/C de Tenerife with about 350 passengers and 120 vehicles
Tomorrow, 31 March, a regular sea route between the Canary Islands and Huelva opens with the ferry-cruise Volcán del Teide. Naviera Armas’s new ship will leave at 8 am from Puerto de La Luz and at 12 pm from Santa Cruz de Tenerife with about 350 passengers and 120 vehicles on board. The Volcán del Teide is expected with great anticipation at the port in Huelva, which the shipping company has fitted out to welcome the ferry.
The Volcán del Teide will cover the route in just over a day (28 hours), thanks to the speed of 26 knots. The ferry will leave the Canary Islands every Thursday and will arrive at the mainland the following day. It will return from Huelva every Saturday and will arrive in the Canary Islands on the Sunday.
The prices of the tickets are the most attractive on the market, because of the high quality they offer. Passengers, as well as having all the services of a cruise ship, with leisure areas, viewpoints, video-cinemas, lounges, buffet, bars, swimming pool, gym, game room and children's play area, have 124 cabins (with 478 beds, of which two are double Penthouses), 500 reclining seats and a VIP lounge with seats.
Passengers have a complete entertainment programme during the trip and throughout the day, from the moment they set foot on the ship. Fun is guaranteed in the afternoon and evening: in the afternoon there is a show for children and later on for adults, with dances, shows, comedy and games.
